We have just bought the above from eBay, we are perplexed as to how this tent is erected, we have tried but it's bloody hard as there were no instructions it's trial and error.
We have tried erecting from the rear but the tent just refuses to play ball, eventually the tent went up but it was hard work.
Anyone with experience cau you please advise.
Mike

We have a similar tent, and have no problems pitching. (Never tried to pitch it with any wind blowing though) We start at the back, and fit all the poles just stacked on top of each other as we go. The back of the tent is roughly pegged down first, then with one person each side pick up all but the bottom pole sets so they are vertical, and walk towards where the front of the tent will be. The first set of poles will then stand up. Keep walking forwards untill all the pole sets are vertical. then peg down front and rear guy lines. Then just square up the tent as you go starting from the back, and peg out the side guys.
Edit Just did a quick you tube search, and there is a pitching video. Also my above method was done using metal poles not fibreglass

------------- Canvas tent, paraffin light, petrol stove. Heaven
I'd rather be kayaking.
Spent up, not pent up, just had my new tent up.
We have the Corado 4, so it is exactly the same as yours just smaller.
We too had many arguments when trying to put the tent up (virgin campers at the time). The first couple of times we followed the concertina advice - peg out at the back, attach legs to roof poles, gather and stand them all up, walk them out one by one and then peg remainder points out. This took us from start to end approximately 1.5 hours and to be honest we found it quite difficult.
On our first ever trip to Cornwall last week, we arrived on site and I decided to ignore all of the video's I had seen and the advice that many people had given me and decided to do it my way!
1) Peg out the back of the tent and then squared the tent on the footprint;
2) Starting at the back, insert the roof pole and attach the legs. Lift up so it is vertical and attach it to the ring and pin and tighten both ends;
3) Continue to the front of the tent doing one section at a time, squaring as you go;
4) Once you have done secure 2 guy lines at the front to temporarily secure the tent;
5) Peg out all remaining pegging points and guy lines.
This took us 20 minutes to get the tent up with another 25 minutes to sort out all of the guy lines. This method was so much easier and quicker than the method we tried before and I hope it works for you. Let us know how you get on.
Have to agree with the above post,we have a Corado 6 and use that method it`s very easy to put up.The trick is just doing one pole at a time and working forward so that it will not get too heavy and unmanageable.

One thing i forgot to mention is that we had a light breeze which kept on blowing the erected sections back, so what we did was to slightly lean the erected poles forward until they we all up and then square out.
We have the corado four and also insert one pole at a time starting at the back. we always peg the centre guide rope at the back which attaches to the top of the tent, as it helps to stablise it. we then attach each pole and lossly peg in the guide rope for each pole. When we get to the front and have the last pole in place we then go back and make sure the tent is square on the footprint and pull forward enough. my husband then sorts out all the other guide ropes and put in the bedrooms i think it takes us about 30 mins.
We love this tent so i am sure you will love the bigger version. it is well worth getting the canopy.
