We have brought a Montana lake at bargain price but now looking at footprints, extensions and carpets.
Which ones fit?? Is it only the lake that fits or will the Montana 6 fit?

The Montana lake is longer than the Montana so its the lake carpet and footprint you need and if you want the material to match then its the Lake extension as well

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
I bought the Montana Lake at a bargain price too - got the Montana Lake footprint which they stocked at Go Outdoors and the Montana 6p carpet (they were out of stock of the Lake carpet)- the 6p is slightly longer I think than the Lake so I thought I would just put a little of the carpet under the bedrooms! Go Outdoors price match Allweathers who seem to have the best prices on the Montana range!
My Lake arrived today and I'm looking for a few extras as well!
Probably just going to get a bog standard tarpaulin for the footprint, a 6m x 4m should be about perfect and is only £25 for a decent quality one. (in fact probably better than the Outwell one)
The 6P carpet sounds like a good idea though. Grotbags, once you've had a chance to try yours in the Lake can you feedback here how it fits.
We bought a Montana Lake last year , without a doubt it's the best tent we've ever had .
We bought a tarpaulin as the footprint , a ML carpet and a Montana 6 awning .
The awning is of course a different fabric and a darker shade of green , but we wanted the enclosed front not the open extension .
It fits and works really well and it looks fine .

Enjoy your new tents ( I'm sure you will )& happy camping .

Quick heads up if you're looking for an awning, Outdoor Value have the Montana 6 one at £190 at the moment which Go Outdoors will price match so it works out at £171 after the additional 10%.
They're going for more than that second hand on Ebay at the moment !
By mistake, the 2011 ML is 30cm longer than the new 2012 model, and Outwell never made a footprint (FP) or carpet (CPT) to fit the 2011 lake.
We have the 2011 lake and both the FP and CPT are short. However, our friends have just updated to the 2012 lake and the FP and carpet for the standard Monty 6 (not 6p) fit perfectly. The 6P, as I believe it, as a 50p style front so would doubt the FP or CPT would fit.
good luck with your search - it's a wonderful tent (almost bomb proof, surviving 50mph winds and torrential rain last month) and getting the extension, footprint and carpet adds to the overall quality.
Damn!! Best return the 6p carpet then and get looking - suppose I need to make sure whether I have the 2011 tent or the 2012 tent! Outwell have advised that there is a label on the bedroom which will say whether it is an 11 or 12!! Everywhere seems to be out of stock of the actual Lake carpet in any event!
When we got ours , Yeomans sent us the Montana 6 carpet which as everyone knows is too short .
We had a number of conversations with both Yeomans and Outwell via phone and email , who , at first told us that the Lake & the 6 were the same length .
After further contact both company's , photographs of the too short carpet and diagrams of the different dimentions , both Outwell and Yeomans conceded that the 2 tents were indeed different lengths !
Yeomans spoke to Outwell on our behalf and managed to get them to send us , free of charge ( for all of our trouble ), a carpet that is the correct length and also clearly states on the label & on the outside of the roll that it is for the Montana Lake !!
It fits perfectly and we now have a spare Montana 6 carpet that we turn around sideways and use in our Navada M . Result !!
Grotbags , try emailing Outwell direct , as they sent us , via Yeomans ,a 2011 Montana Lake carpet .
They may still have some knocking around .
Best of luck :)

I managed to contact Outwell and basically they didn't want to know & tbh were quite rude in their response to me - not impressed with their customer services team I must say!
I did, however, manage to find stock of the actual Montana Lake carpet with Highbridge Caravans - if thats of any use to anyone!
