Hi,

Im after a cheap no frills tent just for myself. At some stage Im gonna get a family pop up tent for when we dont feel like taking the voyager but I cant afford that now, so the one for me now has to be ultra cheap.

It will only be used a few times per year from spring to summer and mainly for 1 night camps and at the very most 3 nights.

I have narrowed it down to 2 but I could do with some feedback. The Asda Ozark is cheap for a dual layer and the one I would prefer but the reviews are limited

The Regatta 2 man dome is twice the price but seems like a safe bet with great reviews

Asda Ozark

Regatta 2 man argos

sorry can't get argos link to work, assuming the link is for item # 340/1668 the HH is higher than the asda one so I would got for the regatta. Tesco have a good tent sale on at the moment, I've recently bought the Gelert corona 6 for £60 17 (I know I sound like a broken record).

I've got the regatta 4 man dome tent from Argos, got it a couple of years ago in in the sale. Still in the catalogue but I think it's sold as a package now? Nice tent but it goes up inner first, then the fly. It didn't say in the catalogue, but as it was cheap i don't really mind. But make sure you check things like that from Argos, their information can be rather skimpy!

Teco has the Gelert Eiger 4 for £27.50 if you are after a cheapie - I bought one yesterday using click and collect service. It's very light and small in it's packaging
