Dilemna time...
We currently have a big 8 man tent, which is too big to use for a couple of nights away.
We have a 'weekend' tent - that I'd use for 1 or 2 nights, which is an Outwell Montana 4 with canopy (no sides).
However, I keep looking at the Quechua 4.2 and wondering if that would be better.
DH hates setting up and packing away, and also airing tents afterwards, so it's me who does all of this.
What would you do?

I don't think we'd go away any more, just maybe have less hassle setting up, and airing it if needs be.
Currently we all sleep in one pod together, and the kids like this, so perhaps the separate rooms wouldn't be so good for us.
Maybe the 4.1 would be better....

Anyone know if the 4.1 or 4.2 have complete SIGs? It's not completely clear on the Decathlon website.

I don't know about the 4.1 but the 4.2 has a ground sheet that you put down first that has a flat bit each end that the bedroom pods sit on which have a sewn in sig and the middle of the ground sheet has vertical bits that velcro to the inside of the middle section of the tent they only vecro in the corners and in the middle of the sides so they are not wind proof but they will keep water out
Hope I have explained it ok
Ps they are a cracking tent so easy to put up and pack away even for an old fart like me

4.1 is same, lay GS down 1st then tent on top but the bedroom has an extra pod with a bathtub GS that lies on top of the bottom GS. I liked the 4.2s etc cos if the GS was wet/dirty it could go in a separate bag and the quechual if wet most of it can be shaken off with some taps on the fabric and it beads off.------------- Special Needs Mum, Overprotective With Serious attitude!
