sunncamp evolution 400: campsite for me and three kids
Michigan 8: campsite for me, three kids and the wife!
Am now looking for a 3 man tent for wild camping for either me and the two oldest kids r me and the missus. One tent after some research that seems to fit the bill (and also lightweight as i'll be carrying it!) Is the Vango Mirage 300.
But there are no reviews of this tent! Is there anyone out there who owns one?
Cheers

I bought one a few weeks ago to supplement my Icarus 500 when I fancy going camping alone. Unfortunately due to the weather I've not managed to go camping in it yet, so my experience is limited to a couple of practice pitches (one indoors). It does seem like a very good tent. Very spacious inside, and I can sit up near the door (I'm 6'3") and it would make a comfortable tent for one and gear. Pitching was a doodle, 3 poles, you do the long ones first and then the door pole, the whole tent just pops into shape and being semi geodesic you can pick it up and reposition it wherever suits. My only concern is the groundsheet does seem a bit thin, and there's no additional footprint available. But I'm sure Vango have tested the resilience of the built in sheet, just me being paranoid.
I got mine on a price promise from gooutdoors for £97 including delivery, so make sure you search around for cheap prices and get a 10% off price match. At that price this really is an excellent tent. My local gooutdoors (Edinburgh) had one pitched outside so I was able to have a good look around it before purchasing.
