Im trying to find a 2-3 man tent which will actually fit a coleman Double air mattress? most of the 2 man tents I have looked at are too small?
I would prefer a pitch fly first or all in one, I bought a Gelert Lunar 4 a nice tent but if its pouring with rain would be pretty wet by the time you had put it up, as it is a pitch inner first!
looking around the £50 mark so if you can recommend anything, I would be gratefull!

Have a look at the Vango Beta 350, 3 man tent which easily fits a double air bed plus room for bags, it also has a porch which you can just about sit in in camping chairs but packs up small enough. Pitch fly first or all together and can get it up in less than 10 mins.
They are a nice tent moneypeni but out of my price bracket, I would like to buy new, I have looked at some used ones on ebay, but you never know what your going to get!
I have a Gelert Atlantis 4 but need something smaller for the odd night away!
Khyam Sherpa 3 tunnel tent? I have two of these and use a Coleman comfort double mattress in them. They are great weekend tents with multiple doors and plenty of space for 2 people. Only disadvantage is you cannot stand up in it.I bought one and was so impressed I got another for the bargain price of £39.99 from Somerset Camping, worth a look.

Thanks for that I like the look of the Khyam sherpa I saw a Zetes on ebay and was going to have a look on the net, but for 40 quid I think the Khyam will take some beating!

Hi Thanks for your recommendation, Of The Khyam Sherpa 3 I have just ordered one should be here tomorrow! , Do you use a footprint? im thinking of making one!

I use a tarp simply folded to size under the bedroom to protect it from wet/stones/mud. the apron groundsheet for the living area comes supplied with the tent and hooks into place at the sides and pegs at the front by the main door. we have found these tents ideal for an overnight or a couple of nights. easily sleep our 3 boys in one on SIMs and me and the wife in the other on the Coleman comfort double. hope you are as pleased with yours as we are.
