Hi all,

Still trying to track down the owners of this set-up
Coleman Tent with Gelert Porch

We have the porch but it doesn't fit our tent very well (it's a long story!!) so would love to speak to the owners of this Coleman for further info :)

J xx

Can't help you with the pitching instructions, but I wouldn't leave the footprint protruding like that - any water will just go straight onto the bottom of the groundsheet so you would have to pack up with a wet bottom, never a nice feeling!!

It does look like the canopy is very snug to the side of the tent, so as long as it is about the same height and you can get the poles up close you should be OK.  You may need to put longer straps on to go over the back of your tent too.

Thanks bobman! yes, I agree - don't think I would leave a groundsheet like that either :(

As I've said in my original post we have this porch which we've bought for our Gelert Lakesbury 5 but it doesn't fit as well as it does on the Coleman in the pic. Just wanted the owner to confirm which 'model' it is in case we are looking to change our tent in the future.

The porch that's designed for the Lakesbury 5 is too big for us - are we ever happy!!

Happy Camping x J x
