Hi All,

 DH and I have been looking at these two tents and know that the Oakland is a little better quality and has a more hydrolic head however we are wondering in reality if the Icarus is just as good.

Does anyone have either and what do you think?

We have the Oakland (2010 version) and it is great and has been improved upon since then too. We also have an Icaurus 400 and whilst not the size of the 600 it is a good tent too. However, I would favour the Oakland over the Icarus due to the metal poles as a family tent.

Hope you managed to make a decision and that you don't get distracted by another make of tent before then.
