Hello,

What do you think the best Outwell colelction is?

Also I heard a rumour that the 2013 range is going to be inflatable so expect to see the Montana 6I or something complete with inflatable anwing and extension!!!! I guess we will see the 'Outwell Guy' on YouTube in the new year...

I will get an inflatable in about 5-6 years time when they have perfected it since I just spend a fortune on the Montana 6P and its extras.

Inflatable is a great idea. Vango are still clearly still getting their act together with it. Karsten have seemingly mastered it but I feel their tents are devoid of light from the ones i've seen (lack of windows from the photos but I could be wrong...).

At the moment, i'm happy to pitch my tent for the benefits I get once it's up and running. If Outwell can come up with 'my polycotton tent' in a blow up version that actually works then i'll be a future customer..!

We have a Norfolk lake and a nevada s and a lot of other Outwell accessories IMHO what they could REALLY do with concentrating on is the quality control and not making dumb-arsed descisions such as the thread about this years carpets being screen printed glorified groundsheets rather than flock.

Everything we have purchased from Outwell so has been fine so far. I am very impressed with the quality, perhaps they have improved the QC since last year (I have read all the issues and returns with the Montana 6 2011). Maybe I am just lucky but most of the products we have got are 2012 range.

As for the carpet I have not seen last years so can't compare if our Montana 6P carpet of lower quality, the print design looks fine but it is somewhat thin. I have never seen another Montana on a campsite but we tent to stay on farms (I like quiet sites) and most tents are normally smaller.

We do actually have loads of Outwell kit (probably too much it seems to be the lack of consistency on quality control that is the frustration.

I agree. We have just taken delivery of our THIRD Cougar Lake. The first one had a hole in (QC issue?) and the second one had a problem with the toggles being sewn through to the outside of the tent so they acted as wicks for any rain we had (another QC issue.) I am going to put the new tent up at the weekend - fingers crossed. I am disappointed by this but on the whole I love their products. It would be nice to see a canopy for the front of the Cougar Lake like that on the Wolf Lake.
