Can I ask all Nevada users what they have/use and what they like/dislike about it?

We have returned from our first camping trip with the kids in our Nevada M, and we loved the tent.

We have said we will consider the extension, but not at the moment, as we have just paid out for the tent and a few new bits. Plus I want to do some research into the two.

I like the look of the extension, think it will give us that bit of extra space, will be good with the dog and kids, and for cooking etc.

Are they that good/worth the money?

Do you mind sharing your experiences with either?

Thank you

Hi there
We have the open fronted extension chose it for that reason so it still feels like being outside when sitting in it rather than in another tent. Also gives the advantage of a usable front door when its raining. Only downside you have to be a bit careful when it gets really windy but this applies to all extensions/canopies and Delta pegs help a lot
Hope this helps

I agree with arsenaldes that the front extension is extremely useful. It gives you more options if the weather is not so good. I’ve only ever owned the front open canopy as the front awning is new this year.

I personally like the front extention. We have the extension for ours. We have the enclosed awning on our Monty which is lovely but then bought a canopy to go over the sloping door!

we had the canopy and could not have done with out it.

great for cooking eating sitting in when raining.

keeps the tent roof dry and as ours was a side canopy covered the top of the bedroom making it a bit darker witch was also good.

made getting in and out for the tent in the rain so much easier no wet door to open or water in tent and you can put a small ground sheet down and take shoe off out side to keep inside of tent clean and dry.

will miss not having one on our new vermont xlp but the vermont one had bad reviews as its to small for the xlp and getting a pitch that big would be harder.

worth every penny on a small tent like the nevarda.
