We have just come back from a week away and our hi gear corado tent at the bottom of the canopy and parts of the main tent wouldnt touch the grass

I f you understand what I mean ..we had this with another tent so we think we must be pitching it wrong does anyone have any ideas what we might be doing wrong please

We had this problem with our new XLP & rectified it by lowering the legs. We had to un-guy it & pulled the poles wider, thus the sides met the floor.

In other words we had made it too tall, so had to lower the tent.

Crap explanation lol, but I hope you get what I mean

Yes we get a similar problem with the Oakland and found pulling the legs further out helped. We also take the sleeping pods out too, which means there is less weight pulling on the tent when we put it up and this also helped to get the SIG flat on the floor.
