Hi RachIN76.
Towing a camping Trailer is a doddle, although reversing with one is a black art, they tell me the smaller the Trailer the harder it is to reverse.
To be fair though it is easy enough to un-hitch the Trailer and handle it around rather than bothering to reverse with it hitched.
Even my icle Trailer at just over half ton when fully loaded is very easy to push and pull around, having a jokey wheel is a big help of course.
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
Concur with the others about how easy it is to tow a trailer even when fully loaded.
I tried to reverse with mine and went horribly wrong, so I don't bother anymore, and un-hitch and push instead.
Definitely get the jockey wheel for ease of movement.

Thanks. That's a great link.
And yes, I think it definitely confirms that I would be rubbish at reversing!
But one of my dad's favourite things about caravanning was watching other people park their vans. I have no idea why. He liked it whether they were good or bad. So I can imagine me giving a lot of people a good laugh when I arrive on site and make a right pigs ear of parking my trailer!
I'm quite stubborn, so I will definitely TRY to learn how to reverse it, but I am fairly sure I won't be good at it!
FWIW, my parents had a caravan for over thirty years, and initially my dad always towed. But about 7 years in, he lost his licence because he developed epilepsy. So then my mum towed. But she could never reverse. So when they arrived on site, or had to hitch up or whatever, they had to swap places and my dad had to take over and reverse it, and he could always do it perfectly.
I can't do that though because my hubby doesn't drive at all, so I don't think he'd be any use to me!
