Hi,

I've found both of these tents - 2012 models- for the same price of £150.

My priority is ease of pitching and living space...so although the Kampa is bigger I'm worried I may struggle to pitch it?

Any advice on which to go for?
Thanks :)

Cant say anything about the Kampa but for me the Icarus 500 is a walk in the park to pitch and has plenty space (for the two of us )

Have a look at both before you buy

Hi
Because the kampa is bigger and has more poles it will take longer to pitch but shouldnt really be more difficult especialy if there are 2 of you to put it up. You didnt say how many people the tent will be for

Hi
Generally it'll be for 2 of us, but ideally needs to fit up to 5 occasionally.

We mainly do weekend camping - no more than about 4 nights.

Hi
Just be aware that a 5 person tent will be cosy for 5 people in the bedroom department and you would have more space with the 6 but then is that overkill if.there is only 2 of you most of the time. If you could get to a tent display then you could see the difference in size even if not the same tents
