Hello all. I was just wondering if anyone here in owns the Vango Drummond 400 and if you would recommend it. (Link:http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/tents/p/Vango-Drummond-400/2923) just I'm having a hard time finding reviews.

Also if you do own one could you confirm if it is a linked in groundsheet in the porch and a sewn in one in the bedroom as it appears to be from the photos but it doesn't mention so in the description.

Thank you.Vango Drummond 400

I dont have one, but have just researched it a little bit for you. It says that the groundsheet is 'linked in' and specifically mentions keeping bugs out. Id take it to mean either sewn in or zip/toggled in maybe. It looks ok for a little 'un, though i can highly recommend the Icarus, which is a 5 berth-a bit more space for not very much more money

I am looking at selling an Icarus 400 in moss green if you are interested. It has only been used once and is a great little tent.

Hi,
I purchased Drummond 400 last week and took it for test over weekend.

Groundsheet in porch is sewn in to bedroom. Flysheet in porch area has around 30cm of groundsheet sewn in to - so when you attach inner tent it overlaps.

Overall I'm very happy with it.
We've upgraded from much smaller tent so this one feels like a palace :-)
It was very windy during our test camping last weekend. Tent did a good job with keeping straight - not sure if this is down to this TBS or not but it works well.
I love mesh doors and there is plenty of light inside.
One thing I did not like is mesh above window which is tightly covered by flysheet and doesn't allow for ventilation. I think this could be design differently.
