They say there is no such thing as a dumb question..........well here goes a newby one
I have an Icarus 500 which has 2 diagonal guy ropes at the main entrance to the tent. Without the extension easy peasy, with the extension (built in ground sheet) what do you do? Just let them hang? Is that why most pictures I've seen of the Icarus with extension shows the roof sagging over the side entrance, i.e. the front of the tent is not as taut as it should be?

The ground sheet for the extension is unattached, and slightly smaller than the width of the extension. Even if you put your "mud flaps" of the extension inside, I found there was still an inch or so of grass still showing (between mud flaps and ground sheet.
That's where I pegged the front tent guylines, then did away with internal trip hazards by cleverly positioning a table, or other such furniture!
