Is it possible to remove the front section/ awning of the a 2011 Wolf lake 7 and add the 2013 awning which makes the tent about 1.75m longer? The widths appear to be the same at 5.1m wide.

If not has anyone developed a way (apart from windbreak) of creating a cover to keep rain out of the awning?

Hi nickwxm,
welcome to the forum.

Can't answer your direct question, but if you get no joy, you may want to consider something along these lines....

This version closes off one half of the open canopy, giving full shelter to all the cooking/kitchen area, but still having that open feel to it. Obviously, a larger tarp would/could/should offer shelter to the full width of your canopy.

Depending on exact set up,probably about the same time involved as with an added canopy/awning, but more versatile, and usable elsewhere/on it's own,and possibly cheaper too?

Worth a thought?

PS:
Don't concentrate too much on the colour/size, for now.... there are masses of alternatives out there.
