Hello all. I have been avidly reading numerous threads about cotton canvas pyramid tents in their various incarnations and I think I am hooked on the idea.

Unfortunately, I dont drive and travel everywhere by motorcycle. Therefore, is anyone aware of a polycotton pyramid tent? Something which offers the same style and (most) of the advantages, but with less weight.

Thanks.

I don't know of any polycotton pyramids but you could buy a pyramid style tent that uses lighter-weight cotton, or go for the smaller versions.

Esvo do eg 150g ten cate cotton tents

Not quite a pyramid, but close. SoulPad now do a three mtr poly cotton bell tent

-------------
Canvas tent, paraffin light, petrol stove. Heaven
I'd rather be kayaking.
Spent up, not pent up, just had my new tent up.
