Hi, is your tent last year's model 2012 signature range or a earlier model. As far as I'm aware I don't think they made a canopy if it's a 2012 model but if it's a earlier model I saw one for sale by a company called Nearly New Tent's, it is a sister company to Vango. The earlier model's you could get a side canopy to match the colour of your tent. You will just have to look on their site often to see if you may come across one.
I have a 2009 monte verde 900 and purchased a side extension for it,approx £250 tow years ago. I have only used it once but fitted it to the right hand side door looking from the front. I do believe that it would fit on either side door.

I'm waiting to hear back from Vango as they told me a few days ago that I would need a canopy height of 225cm and a width of 500cm.
I tracked down a 2011 canopy for the monte verde 900 but I think this 2011 tent model is slightly shorter by 10cm so I have asked Vango for confirmation if it will fit but I dont think it will as the specification for the 2011 canopy is 200x380x215cm so it's looking like it's too small.
