Has anyone bought from this site recently.
Is the stuff they sell good quality or is it all factory seconds.
There was a discussion on here a couple of years ago where people were getting faulty items from them. Is this still the case?

I have bought from them on a couple of occasions. The quality has always been good, and my perception is they are more discontinued lines rather than Factory settings, however it may have been the products I was looking for were discontinued.
The only thing I will say though, you need to make sure you cannot get it cheaper elsewhere.

The item I'm looking at is an awning for a 2012 oakland xl.
This may well be discontinued but they also have the 2013 version which is current. The price is pretty good but it is more than I want to pay for a factory second.
Has anyone else had dealings with them?

Ive bought a couple of things off them in the past and products were not seconds. I would think they would have to list them as seconds/faulty if they were. I would suggest they sell off Overstock and discontinued items not seconds. As has already been said check you cant get the item cheaper elsewhere

As all the feedback is positive I've bitten the bullet and ordered an awning.

You will find its all discontinued stock/ change of colour etc. Even if there is a 2013 Oakland awning this will be due to the Oakland changing or being discontinued for 2014. I could not confirm or deny this as I would be put up against the wall and shot...

Yes I think you're probably right. I did email them and they confirmed that everything they sell is perfect and not seconds.
Going slightly off-topic Gary, I have a Sunncamp Evolution 400 which we use for single nights at festivals (beer).
The last few inches of the pole sleeves have started turning white. At first this looked like the sleeves were wearing thin, but after a closer look the sleeves are actually delaminating, the PU coating is peeling off.
This has no affect on the tent other than looking shabby.
Is there anything I can do to tidy them up?

No, sorry, but not really, its just the battle scars of a tent that's had some wear. Ok you could try a little spray of fabsil/stormproof and see if that helps but I doubt it will make any difference. There is nothing else other than the Nixwax UV proofer that I would put on a tent.

The awning arrived quickly, ordered Wednesday arrived Monday.
I erected it in the garden yesterday and can confirm that it looks perfect, although I haven't tried it on the tent yet.
It is definitely brand new as only the factory could roll it up so small.
How do you get these back into the bag?
