Hi - After buying a gazebo this year which blew down the field and was broken beyond repair we are thinking of buying a day tent or utility tent for next year. We intend to use it for cooking and storage with us eating in the Outwell Nevada M Awning or outside if weather good.
I've seen an outwell oaklahoma on the campsite we stayed at which I liked but is expensive. Would anyone recommend it though? Does anyone use it at home when not camping? or are there any other day tents that fellow campers recommend?
thanks Natalie

Good and bad pints, read reviews, but it was very good in the dry weather, but we have since made the curtains longer so that the rain doesn't leak in any more.
I had the eurohike pop up family room (2.5mx2.5m):
quick to pitch and stood up well in the wind but found the sloping sides limited space usage (family of 5) so opted for a drive away awning (2mx3m):
it has two sides doors, the rear that attaches to the car can roll up and front is removable so opens up if we get nice weather.
We popped down to our local camping supplier today who says a vango odessey side canopy would fit on our tent, £90, so this has given us something else to think about!
I think we will keep in mind all of your advice and have a look on ebay and preloved for some bargains in Sept, when some people may be selling theirs!
cheers for now
Natalie
