These look brilliant, if ridiculously expensive, there is one thing that I haven't quite got my head round tho. If I have got it right it is only the main base tent that is inflatable, with any other extra awnings and extentions requiring poles. So I'd be looking at spending a bundle of dosh on an inflatable and still have the hassle of poles - or am I missing something?

I've just got one. Gary nails it, ease of use and lifetime quality. Don't forget the fact that they're modular means you can use as little or as much as you desire for a trip.
Only the extensions need a pole, and its easy to put in. They can be pitched on your tod in rapid time.
They have incredible ventilation and quality throughout.
I am sure i'll never need to buy another tent again.

You can buy two tents with a link piece so no poles. Which is what I want in the end. I know mega bucks but I can dream! Besides the awning poles is only one pole per piece easy peasy.

KARSTEN CAMPERS DO IT WITH INFLATABLES (OO ER!)
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
There on show at my place this weekend. Cross Camping near to Cambridge. James the UK Karsten guy is offering 10% off during September. They are nothing to do with me business wise but I have to say I love them.
Can I just ask a question I'm curious about?
I own a carptent which is great and one of things I like about it, is that it's all the same colour.
In all the images I see of karstens, they are always in the various different colours, usually two on each set up. I thought the awnings were only available in the natural, hence that's all you see. On looking at the website now though, it does say that awnings, link tents etc are all available in the same colour as the main pod, and also, the pod flaps/roof vent can be the same. Yet there are no images at all showing any set up with a uniform colour.
I know the trademark look is the mixed colour ways, but just wondered if Karsten are perhaps missing something by not showing any 'same colour' set ups...especially as it is difficult to visualise.
I ask, as personally, I prefer the silhouette they give when all one colour, to the mix match effect and perhaps other people might as well?
Yes, you're right, there are a few. Although none at all that I can see on any Karsten promotional material...they don't seem to like that option!
I like my tents plain....like me!
You are obviously colourful and interesting Basichendo!
