I want to upgrade this year from our old Vango Idaho 600 tent to a larger family tent with large central living space and extra bedroom for our springer spaniel etc!
Id pretty much chosen the Vango Astoria 800 in moss green as the one to go for, but 2 months on and now that im ready to buy i cant find one for sale (and any package deals with footprint and carpet seem to have gone too).
I know it was introduced in 2012 but can anyone tell me if its been superceded/withdrawn from sale, and if there are any plans for Vango to introduce a similar tent in a new version/model this year?
I dont know now whether to keep looking out for a seller of the Astoria 800, risk buying a secondhand one or wait a few months to see if Vango might introdude an even better tent in the same configuration..
Any advice/thoughts out there? Thanks!

Vangos current crop have already been released and as far as I know there's nothing superceding the Astoria. I would buy one if you can find one, it's a great tent.
Have just purchased the airbeam prototype version. Put up once so far.
Very very impressed. Having immense difficulty locating a footprint though. Anyone any ideas?
It is identical, I believe, in configuration. I was after an airbeam as my previous Monte Verde 900 although an excellent tent was ,for two of us, on occasion difficult to erect.
Will be interested to see how it stands up to high winds etc. the 900 with steel poles was superb.
