Last year I invested close to £400 for a Vango Icarus 600 tent, footprint, carpet and wind shield. I tired in vain to buy the matching canopy, however more chance of getting horse **** out of a rocking horse. Everywhere had sold out, retailers and Ebay, I did however manage to get a number for Vango who assured me that they would be making a new Icarus 600 canopy around spring 2014, however all I can see on the current Vango website is the very expensive Airbeam products. I have tried to contact Vango via the email option on their site three times in the past two weeks, to my disappointment all have been ignored, I've also tried to acquire an up to date phone number and address for Vango, again more chance of getting that rocking horse to s***, it's seems Vango don't wan to talk to me...... I've now compiled a letter so if anyone does have a postal address or phone number this would be gratefully received. From the few calls I made this morning retailers appear to be unsure about whether they will actually be stocking Vango Icarus (non air beam) products and appeared uncertain why, what seems clear to me is that something strange is going on. I've even heard that the Icarus line may have been sold off by Vango as a stand alone brand... On the back of its mass popularity, this could be speculation or total nonsense, however it was suggested as being possible, I'm both surprised and disappointed at the lack of response from Vango having only heard good things about their customer service, as well as the fact that we are delighted with the Vango equipment we currently have purchased', my only problem now Is that I need a Vango Icarus 600 canopy!....or at least an answer from Vango!

I'm sure I've read on here in the last few months that the 600 is discontinued and the 500 is now exclusive to Go Outdoors. Sorry can't help with contacts. though if you are on Facebook you could try posting on there to ask the question.
As for the canopy you will have to join a very large queue, I am not having a go at anyone that buys a tent on the cheap, but if it is going for less than half the retail price and you want carpets and canopies it is worth researching before buying.
As for the Vango customer service it doesn't sound very good, I hope you get a satisfactory conclusion in your search.

It looks like the Isis 600 is replacing the Icarus as its very close in size, shape, layout etc but most importantly it is the same width so the Isis canopy should fit the Icarus even if you can't match the colour perfectly.

RTS5 is correct.
There comes a point where a very popular product becomes so competitive on price that retailers after selling so many but making no profit turn away from said product. No matter how good it is if the retailer cannot make any money on that product they will drop it. This is the case for the Icarus range... Now 500 is discontinued but there are a few 600's around. There are other canopies that will fit but may not match colour wise. As far as I am aware there will be no more 600 canopies made.

The key is leaving the tent door open to get that air out and when the tent is flat start with the flat of your hand at the sealed end of the AirBeam and squash the air out of the tubes. Then fold the tent long and thin so you end up rolling it from the back towards the front door or as suggested above, by a bigger bag. You shouldn't need to though.

I am having the same trouble getting a side canopy for the Vango tigris 800 xl which we also bought on the cheap. I have managed finally to get a carpet and footprint but not the side canopy in true navy. You can get them in moss though. The icarus and tigris canopies are interchangeable. I did get hold of Vango on the phone but I am more likely to get info from people on here. Also I contacted them on Twitter an that guy was really helpful! If you have twitter I can tweet it to you

I have the same problem, but looking at the ISIS 600 "awning" I thought it would fit. So Ive gone ahead and bought it.
Its not the exact colour, but at least they are both green (I hated the blue one).
Am taking it away on the 11th so will report back to say how it goes and if/how it fits!
Crowland camping website is showing them in stock..but blue.
I searched high and low for a calista 600 canopy but everywhere sold out/discontinued but came across that site. Ordered it this morning expected a "sorry we can not fulfill your order message" but to my delight this evening got a message to say dispatched

I tried, in vain, last year to get a canopy... I could find it in blue, but not in moss green... I managed to get a response from Vango, Andrew Mooney to be exact. He said "Unfortunately we will not be re-stocking the Icarus 600 front canopy this year." I've not tried to contact him again yet, but if you wanted to, you could try? The details are:
