So let me get this right, basically your all saying that I should!
Fold, squash, fold, squash, fold squash, fold, squash, fold, squash.
Roll, squash, roll, squash, roll, squash, roll squash, roll squash.
Tie it up squash into bag, use fork lift to place gently into the boot.
Yeah and your right about the fork lift bit! I still can't get over how heavy the tent is! I rewarded myself with several beers after getting it into the bag this afternoon!
Is it just me, I have mowed my lawn and lugged my new tent outside to pitch it for the first time, footprint down and pegged, check
Lovingly coax the rather heavy bundle out of its roller bag and unroll to reveal one bag with porch poles. Check
Hang what is this I find NO BLINKING PUMP OR PEGS.?.
Can't really test out my new tent today can I !!!!
I have a gelert electric pump but with no pressure gauge.

Are folk actually saying that, on pack up, they fold the footprint up, and stuff it into the same bag as the tent?
Mine's normally wet and/or muddy (let's face it, that's why I put it there) so goes in a bin liner all on it's lonesome, until we get home, and hang it out to dry/clean it off.
Why would you want to shove a dirty wet smelly footprint in with a tent? Am I missing summat?
PS:
Sorry to hear that, Chazzer.
I suspect a missing package, somewhere. Wouldn't have thought a pump would go in a tent bag... though not familiar with this tent, of course. Are you sure you get one supplied, or did you order one as an additional option?
Whatever... I hope you get it sorted soon. Today's a great day for test pitching a new tent aswell!! What a bummer!
I tucked the groundsheet in there after it was dry. TBH i've just got the tent in the bag now - the spare space in the bag allows me to get it into the cupboard under the stairs when not in use (tight squeeze!)and also reduces the weight. I've got the pump, poles and pegs in a seperate canvas bag and the manual pump in another bag. The groundsheet never went back in its original bag (that was a VERY small bag lol) so i've just put a couple of straps around it.
Charger, was your Eden one of the Edens that went back to Vango to have the loose threads trimmed off, if it was I bet they missed putting those bits back in...

Hi mucker, these items that are missing are normally standard issue with any airbeam tent so I fear that Gary the camping guru is right in saying they never packed them back into bag after checking for defects. This is backed up by the phone call I had with attwoolls who were very confused because they had supposedly also checked this tent when it arrived back from the recall, and after doing a sweep of their warehouse and factory could not find any miss placed pumps or pegs. But have promised to deliver these items to me ASAP .
Almost 2 months since I paid for it and I still haven't put it up!
Oh well patience is a virtue so I'm told. Back to trying to sell the tent I bought last year I suppose.
Thanks for listening everyone
