Hi im no expert but we had a large tunnel tent & we copied the ' Gary Cross Method ' found on youtube & i believe this works for all tunnel tents.

It does seem impossible to make a large tent stand with just 1 pole erected but it does work & we put our tent up in about 20mins then extra time for guy lines & bedroom pods.
Im sure if someone has a better way they will be along soon to point you in the right direction.
To be honest this is far easier than the method that comes in the actual instructions. The instructions suggest putting all the poles in first which makes it too heavy to lift even with 2 people.
The video method is loads easier
