Can anyone help? After many many years my husband has finally talked me into trying a camping holiday, and we have just purchased a second hand Royal Sassari 6 tent. The only problem is we don't have the pitching instructions, can anyone offer suggestions as to where I might be able to download and print some instructions? I have spent a fair few hours looking online but can't find anything and really really don't want to spend the first 5 hours of our first trip putting up a tent!!!!!

Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
Hi the Royal Sassari was an updated (different colour) version of the Royal Biaritz and on mine the instructions were sewn into the bag. These tents pitch "inner first" so there are no poles showing on the outside of the tent, except for the porch, and are the same as the early Outwell Hartford and Vango Diablo models.
The link below is for a pitching video of a Vango Diablo which you can use as a guide to pitching your tent. The poles will be a different colour but you should find the pole sleeves are colour coded as well, ie red pole in red sleeve etc etc

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
Regardless of whether you get pitching instructions etc, I really wouldn't just turn up on site for your first pitch.
Have at least one practice pitch, be it your garden, someone else's garden, a local park. Anywhere that has the room!
As well as that all important practice, it gives you the chance to make sure everything is present, and in working order. Doesn't do any harm to get the hose pipe on it either, once it's up, if at all possible. (Make sure it's bone dry before re-packing, of course). This goes whether the tent is brand new from a shop, or used from an auction site!
