Please please someone help with this thing it has us totally beat. Does it come with a pole ? How does it attach to the main tent ? What do you do with the guys I the main tent if you so manage to get it on ? It's a total waste as no matter what we do we can't get it on .

Well we thought we had it but the wind really picked up overnight and the rain is pouring down so the stupid thing fell of again , so fed up with it that it lying in a bundle outside in the rain , would be so handy to have working today but with the wind and rain so bad can't see how we could even attempt to put it up again

We have the Croyde 6 with vestibule but it is the Series 3 for which they have made a lot of revisions to make it work better, similar idea to the Filey vestibule though.
Our vestibule has a toggle at the top in the middle which toggles to the front pole of the tent canopy, this stops it slipping off. In the absence of this, the edge of the vestibule should just slip over the front canopy pole relying on tension at the sides when you peg it out to keep it in place.. Looking at photos of the Filey vestibule there are guying points on the outside of the vestibule which replace the guying points of the front of the main tent, so they guys to the main tent just need tying up inside.
There should also be tension straps which pull the vestibule onto the main tent, these attached to the next set of poles back from the front of the tent, at least they do on the Croyde anyway.
Some people have had success in using clips to clip the top of the vestibule to the front canopy pole of the main tent.

I am just googling clips here as that was our next thought , it's so frustrating when you really need it up , maybe next time but will buy some clips in the mean time

Mine was the original version, when the tent was known as the Holkham.
I can't find the instructions I had - think the last copy went with the tent..
I wouldn't try this for the first time if the weather is bad. It's tricky enough any way without added complications... so wait for a break.
Firstly some pics to prove it can be done:
I never used any extra clips on mine, but I guess it would have been a good idea to at least clamp the top middle, to make it easier to set up. Also it would have been a good idea to mark where the top /middle of the cover was to make it easier to get it symmetrical straight away rather than by adjustment.
Start by laying out the cover along the front of the tent.
Remove the guys on the front of the tent and either tie up or let them hang loose. Throw the main guy (top middle) over the top of the front canopy. At this point some folk lean the front section back to make it lower and easier to reach, but I preferred to keep it upright.
Start hanging the cover over the front pole. Start in the top middle and work to both sides at the same time. Best if two people do this, taking a side each. If you have the luxury of a third person who is tall, have them stand in the middle and just hold the top middle bit on. There is a strap (as well as the elastic) that runs the length of the cover; this needs to be behind the tent pole.
At each end of the strap is a hook which needs to go in the corresponding end of the pole. The strap is length-adjustable, so you might need to lengthen it to get it on, and then shorten it afterwards to keep it there.
There are two Velcro fasteners each side which wrap around the pole; waist and chest height ?
Peg the point nearest the strap ends near the bases of the pole.
There is another pegging point each side which you pull back, down the side of the tent as far as you can.
Zip the front of the cover closed, and finish the pegging.
TT your instructions are perfect but unfortunately we have done it that way at least 10 times now and as I type the bloody thing is of again so we give up , it's so frustrating

It's starting on one side and you can watch it gradually slide of the whole top then , we have taken it all of each time and started again but still it falls of . We ended up going to a hardware store and getting clips for it as the rain is torrential all day here and is to be like this all night too it's also very windy .
