Hi
I know the question has been asked before on the site, but have some precisions: I have a 2014 outwell concorde M. Only use abroad and looking for an extension or canopy. I don't need to size of the outsell extension as simply too big. Need a canopy I can cook under. Use a tarp today but we still get drenched...

2012 bear lake extension is recommended. does this zip onto the 2014 concorde? secondly, where to find one as can't see any advertised separately
Any other extensions i could use as a canopy?

Last resort will be a coleman event shelter, but prefer keeping stuff close to tent for small pitches (often in forests etc)

thanks a lot!

Jammidge, 2012 Bear Lake front extensions are highly sought after by Bear Lake owners on the used market. You'd have to closely watch ebay and gumtree and be prepared to pay around £400 (more than they cost new when they were selling them off at the time). If one comes up you may have to email the seller for a price to end the listing, they usually disappear before the auction ends!

You can use a Bear Lake side extension with a Concorde M...we do. It's not a perfect fit at the front because of the curve on the Concorde, but it will give you more than enough space to cook in via the side door. The side extensions are a lot easier to find than the front ones I suspect when you were told about the BL extension, this would be what they meant, as a front one wouldn't attach.

Side extensions have a panel which you basically throw over the roof & guy down on the other side. You should be able to find a demo of how to use one on YouTube. Hope this helps.
