Hi all,

We've been out today to look for a new tent. Last year we let our friends borrow our beloved Gelert Valley 4 and they managed to push one of the tent poles through the fabric :( It's not beyond repair but it is getting on and we've been after a new mid range tent for a while.

We were looking at the Vango EOS 550 SC but cant find much about it. It seems as a 'Go Outdoors special' there's not much info on it.

The other option is the HiGear Enigma 5.

Our price range is ideally under £170 and we like being able to stand up in them.

So does anyone have any experience and opinions on either or both? Or any other recommendations?

Thanks in advance!
