we are downsizing after using the hi gear corado 8 for just over 3 years and was our first tent. We have decided it's too big and require a decent quality tent that is easier to erect etc.

We have been looking and quite like the outsell Montana 6p , firstly what are out well like and does anyone recommend any other tent ?

Thanks we have 2 kids and sometimes take the dog,

We were looking the Montana 6p when we changed our tent earlier this year. After seeing the Kampa Croyde 6 we bought that instead. We felt it was a more practical tent, just as good a quality as the Outwell and substantially cheaper than the Outwell.

Best advice is to have a look at a few in the flesh before you decide, only trouble with the Kampas is that not everyone stocks them!

I recently downsized from a Coleman Da Gama 6 which was a very nice tent. It had plenty of room inside (a little too much for me on my own) but I particularly liked the upright doors that didn't let the rain in and the darkened bedroom pod. Very easy to erect single handedly too.
