Hi everyone,
My teenage son has expressed a wish for his own little two man tent for when we go camping and also (to my absolute horror) he also wants to go camping in a local field with his friends!
I like the little pop up tents but the ones on sale at go outdoors at the moment have awful reviews , especially regarding their ability to keep him dry.
Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced two man please,

Take a look at the Quechua range from Decathlon, most are double skineed so eliminates condensation issue with the GO ones.

Definately the Quechua ones, I have three of them and they are excellent, really strong and prevents condensation as they are double skinned.

We got hit with a monsoon style storm with rain and wind so strong it flattened a couple of utility tents and caused an awning to fill 6" deep with water. I put my Decathlon pop up in the rain with just 4 pegs and got into the van for the remainder of the storm. Many hours later I unzipped the tent to get in for some sleep and it was bone dry. Others didn't fair so well. It's one of their best products I think.

And this is after my 10 year old has been using it as a "base" in the garden and used a beach shelter etc.

Just don't spend too much if he's using it to camp in a field with his mates, theres always the odd idiot who thinks it's funny to jump on and break their mates tents! My daughter went to a camp out a few weeks ago, I think half the tents were trashed the next morning. The little git who did it thought he was being clever!
