Has anyone got any suggestions for a pollycotton tent for 2 adults and 2 children which has a small pack size.
We are looking for a tent for short weekend breaks.
Thank you for your time

Without wishing to sound rude, my initial thought is "You'll be lucky"!!
Any 4 berth family tent (and most folk will advise you go 2 berths bigger than the number of inhabitants anyway!) worth it's salt will be around 3m x 4.8m, to include a sleeping area and separate living area, and offer full standing height to boot.
That is the size of our polycotton Kampa Frinton 4 Classic (Now discontinued), and I really wouldn't advise you go any smaller, for the well-being of the children, and the sanity of the parents!.
I can't relate the pack sizes off the top of my head, but would be more than happy to measure the bags (yes, plural... 1 x tent, 1 x poles) later this evening, after work>shopping>late tea.
I would certainly not describe either bag as a small pack size. That's always going to be a negative where polycotton tents are concerned (particularly when steel/alloy poles are added to the equation, as ours has).
Let's hope I'm talking complete tosh, and someone comes along with a more positive post, a more positive attitude, and more importantly, a specific tent recommendation... I'll be more than happy to apologise for my negativity, if that be the case!
I have a polycotton Bell Tent, it's a 4m sized one and is a good size for three or four people but no more. It is 10T brand and I got direct from Germany but Amazon uk have them.
It's not got a small pack size though due to the weight of the fabric and the heavy duty groundsheet that is in it. I've given up on the bag and now put two bungies around it instead. It takes up half of the boot in my Renault Laguna and I can only just about lift it.
Polycotton and 'small pack size' don't go together in my opinion.
The Klondike seems to have been very successful, and may be sold out in most places already. But it could be the best choice as it is polycotton, has a full groundsheet but only weighs around 13kg, which is very light for a 4 berth tent. The downside of the bell tent design is that there is no separate porch area for cooking, wet/muddy gear etc. Folks usually remedy that by buying a separate tarp and poles to make a porch over the door area.
Not a cheap option but our tentipi weighs 10kg plus 1.4kg for the floor. Bought for weekends (goes up and down in 10 mins), 4.5m so enough room for short breaks but I did make a small tarp for the door. 4.5m is not as much as you would imagine with the angle of the sides.
Bag size is very small compared to any other tent I have ever owned, half the size of my three man ridge tent.
They do crop up used on eBay or the canoeing forums now and then.
