Hi guys, I was just looking at the Obelink website to see what tents they have and I came across this 'beast' of an inflatable tent. Reading all the specs and looking at the picture made me very curious. Seems like a wonderfull thing for a good price as well.
Has annyone seen seen it alive yet? Can't wait to see it in real life.

66.5kg Would need a portable engine hoist to get it in and out of the car!
Flipping heck! It looks a beast of a tent but, seriously, if it's one great big heavy lump, not many people are going to be able to manage. It might be an easy pitch once you get it ready for inflation, but you'd surely bust a gut in getting it to that enviable point in time and Goodness knows what it'd weigh if you had the misfortune to pack up wet!

Looks like a great tent to me, Comparing to an Outwell Concorde L it is about 20 kg more. Anyone knows why? It looks bigger to me but i dont think the size alone brings an extra 20 kg.. I think the price for an inflatable tent this size is great though.

I've contacted Obelink today and they told me that the materials that they use are more durable than most competing brands. Sounded rather good though.

Yes, but the poles would normally be in a separate bag, effectively "halving" the weight.
Ours weighs in at 36kg, and admittedly, is in a long thin bag with handles at each end, as opposed to the side, so not the easiest package to handle. I can manage from boot to pitch of course, (although not particularly gracefully!) and dare say I could just about get it up on my shoulder if I had to walk (crawl!) more than 10m or so, but one thing's for sure... either up or down the stairs at home, it gets treated like a sled, and never leaves the floor!
That looks like an air version of the Familia 6 that we bought last year.
If it is, it's likely the 66kg weight is split over at least two bags. The Familia has three bags, one for the poles, one for the main tent and one for the ZIG, inner tent and extension.
I posted a fair bit of info on the Familia 6 after I bought it - check here for details.
All in all, I am impressed with Obelink and love the tent. Our only issue was the state of the packaging on delivery, but the tent inside was undamaged.
Obelink's prices are amazing - similar spec'ed tents from the likes of Outwell & Vango are a lot more expensive.
I've contaced Obelink again and it seems that the Miami has a Zip in groundsheet. The groundsheet can be detached when needed but before you inflate the tent the zig must be connected to the flysheet. JasonAndclare, indeed. The Miami 6 air is the inflatable version of the Familia.
