At the moment we have an Icarus 500 plus the enclosed porch. We are considering replacing this whole setup. Is there any tent available of similar size including porch BUT with the porch a part of the tent. Hope that makes sense.

We changed from the same Icarus 500 / Extension set up last year.
For the replacement we decided we wanted something polycotton and wanted an open porch we could cook in - we never did any cooking in the Icarus extension as it was closed in and didn't feel safe. We also decided we weren't interested in inflatable tents. After a lot of research we narrowed it down to two tents:
1) Kampa Croyde 6 Classic
2) Obelink Familia 6
In the end we went for the Familia 6, mainly on price but also because of the larger porch and zip in screen it comes with.
I posted with details of our order and first camp experiences here if you're interested.
We went from the Iccy 500 with front enclosed porch, to a similar size, but all in one... which ultimately proved to be "Too much for weekends", so we then bought another, similar sized to the Iccy, but no porch.
To be fair, there is only two of us, and the majority of our camps are for two night weekends, (with 1 x fortnight thrown in each year) so that combination of large + medium sized tents did eventually work for us, but having that one big tent (only) for all occasions wasn't the way to go... for us.
No idea on your family size or indeed how long you camp for, but just thought it worth a mention... for some, there's a lot to be said for a medium sized tent with options to extend!
There are only two of us plus a dog. But we like plenty of room. We were going to buy a Maritsa but that has now been superseded by I believe the Nadina. But will have a look in the flesh before we a decision. Thanks for the advice so far.

We have just ordered the vango farnham 500. Sleeping area is same as citrus but the living area is larger plus it has a front canopy. We were looking at the calder 500 that is very similar to the icarus but the farnham seemed better choice.
I am also thinking of going with the Farnham 500 or 600, from the Icarus 500.
Also looked at the Kampa Croyde 6, but worry it might be a big step from the Icarus 500. Seems huge, and not sure what considerations I would need when booking a large enough pitch.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
