I am looking to get a new tent, the Kampa Hayling 4 air looks perfect for me. Does anyone have one? Is it easy to put up and take down by one short person? Anything wrong with it?
Or any other suggestions on similar tents? I am quite fussy!

Have just discovered the pole version has the extra vestibule as well. Would rather have the pole version, but the same question, how easy is it to put up? Thank you!

I had a Kampa Hayling 4 Air last year, they are very well made tents, and look good when erected, I particualy loved the large porch.
But like all air tents, they are heavy,i would recormmend going to a tent shop, and ask to handle the tent in the bag to see if it is ok for you, and remember, also, that if you have to pack away wet it will weigh more, you will also be able to see, if it will fit in your car.
Pumping it up is ok,peging out took me some time,if the ground was hard.
As for taking it down, when it is deflated, there is a lot of tent to fold up, and to get in the tent bag, it can be done by one person, but better with two,
Have a look at the smaller Vango Air tents, I don't think they are as heavy, and if, as you say, you are short, may suit you better
To sum it up, the weight might be a problem, the tent quality, is very good, erecting is easy, packing away, is a knack, (and that is folding the tent up, and for you, lifting it into your car.

I can put up our Kampa Croyde 6 (steel poles) on my own but much much easier with two.

Kampa do make great tents!

Thank you. I think the pole version will be better, because of weight/size. I currently have a hi gear aura with extension, but I want something a bit bigger and with a porch area. I like the look of the hayling with a big side door and large porch.
I will go and have a look at them before buying.
