I have searched high and low but cant find the inner tent for the base seconds as they seem to be sold out. Is there any other make of inner tent that would fit for size to make do until I can find a proper one? (I can always alter)

It will be difficult to find something that is a close enough match, if you need one that fills the whole footprint. Vango do a universal double inner which is freestanding because it has its own poles, for about £35 I think.
