We're struggling to fit our air porch to our Berghaus Air 4 tent. We're fitting it above the canopy at the side door of the tent. Should we remove the canopy pole so it doesn't rub against the air beams of the porch?

Also

Any tips for actually fitting the canopy pole? We find it very hard and I can see one of us losing an eye if the pole twangs out of the small velco pocket that it fits in to.

We have the Air 8, and found when we first put it up the side canopy pole (you mean the small one above the door?) touched so we put it on the other side of the tent - ours is a different layout to yours. I would say either don't use the side canopy or better yet will the porch fit on the front of your tent instead?
