The canvas and cast bell tents have all your features listed above ie door mesh, door windows, inner option and ZIG. https://podpadscanvas.com/
Hmmmm.. I notice they're advertising a 'steel mallet' on their website, at £9.00 plus delivery.
The description states:
'These standard issue steel mallets are the most effective tool for ‘pegging out’ your bell tent and, have proved an essential development following the number of breakages experienced with the cheaper rubber-head mallet.'
What a wonderful new product! I was tempted to order then, hang on a minute, I think we may already have one...yep, only we call ours a lump hammer!
Well the Karma bell tent arrived, not impressed all the guide ropes are different lengths, not length as described in the pitching instructions. The rock pegs, don't make me laugh, you know the type one tap with a hammer and They bend A along with the thin wire ones that are no better. You'd think after spending £539 you'd get decent pegs, think now maybe I should have bought the Duskydeer.

Sorry to hear that. We never got any pegs with ours so cant comment on that. As far as I know only one of the guy lines should be longer. ( the front one) again unless they are very short, cutting them to the same length is no major problem if you want. You should have got wooden sliders for the guy lines?? Can I suggest you contact Andrea Jackson at Karma, who I am sure can resolve any problems you have. This seems to me small problems that can easily be resolved. All pegs that come with most tents seem to be crap, thats why I have never used any of them and gone and brought my own.

Hi geoffprinter,
We put the tent up Sunday morning and it does make up for the poor quality pegs. We were amazed how fast it went up so much easier than all the others we'd had in the past. Was going to drop Andrea a mail this morning as one of the wood tensioner was split and another has a hole drilled in its end. Don't know if the retailers of these tents keep updating the specs each year, retailers like Camping + canvas, Boutique and Duskydeer sell their tents with really study pegs, not the poor quality you'd get with a cheap nylon no brand tents. Like I said would have thought for the money we spent the pegs would have been same quality as the tent.
You may wish to consider a Robens Kiowa, we bought one recently and have to say we're impressed, especially with the addition of the Volcano wood burner, it also stood up to a gale, that blew branches off trees nearby without any problems. Regarding cooking, to reduce condensation etc, I'd buy a Kampa utility tent.
But you can cook a great curry on the woodie....

I have just bought a Soulpad ( only a little 3m just for meeeee!) and have been very impressed with the quality and customer service. I use a Facebook page for bell tent owners and people generally are happy with a range of labels: Karma canvas, Bell Tent Company, Dusky Deer, Under the stars, Canvas and Cast, Soulpad, Obelink........
They are probably all made in the same Chinese factories, and there are just minor variations in things such as the weight of the fabric, whether the tents have mesh doors. Of course the other three main variations of course are having a) a loose pegged down groundsheet, b) a sewn in groundsheet c) a zipped in groundsheet.
Hi bit late, could try Bell Tent Boutique at Notts.. (on fb)
Recently bought a 5m Bell Tent from them and the rock pegs, standard and they even supplied some heavy duty rounded bar.. they should be able to sort you out

In doing a hell of a lot of research on bell tents before buying one (to the point of boredom!!), I came across a lot of dissent about Karmas after sale care. Same for one or two others. SoulPad tents were well thought of though...I have finally opted for the Blacks of Greenock Solace 4m?

The Karma and Blacks of G. (I have just bought a latter) do indeed use a slightly heavier canvas than the SoulPad and many others.
However, that is not the be all and end all of it; the tightness of the weave is even more important as it ensures when the wet threads swell, a tight weave will seal better....the light Egyptian cotton on my Good Companion (1 of) hasn't been proofed since whenever, and doesn't leak in hard rain. At all.
