They had one on display at Go Outdoors when I bought it so could see there were only two - I got the store to check, emailed Go Outdoors and Vango. All seemed confused as on the plans it shows 3 rooms, but they all confirmed there are 2!! Personally I wanted 2 bigger rooms rather than 3 tiny ones, which was why I bought it, but imagine it's frustrating if you didn't know - when did you buy it, can you take it back? The non-Go Outdoors version the "Marna" which is still being sold does now seem to have 3 bedrooms in some pictures however: http://www.charliesdirect.co.uk/vango-marna-600xl-6-man-camping-tent-herbal?gclid=CjwKEAjwm8-6BRDgnb-Dk96UmRASJADbMycYqU-NJ9bMMd3IuXaxwBinXuIonhFvTvjYdkw6G-AEFRoCV4Dw_wcB
My Avalos had a hole in the groundsheet - bought in Jan but only discovered when weather good enough to put it up in March - and by then they'd stopped selling it for a replacement! So they sent it to Vango for repair, has been there 6 weeks and not got it back, so am a bit concerned they've lost it... Been chasing up Go Outdoors last few days and waiting to hear back!
Unfortunately we didn't see it set_up as bought online or wudnt have purchased. With our family (daughter 17 and son 10) we purchased... well thought we had... A 3bedroom tent to meet our needs. Pitched on first outing to discover it had been incorrectly packaged and advertised. .....and neither Vango or Go Outdoors seem to accept responsibility

Vango clearly should take responsibility as they mis-advertised it. I would pester them - there's no reason why they shouldn't be able to send you a 3-way dividing Marna inner as a replacement (avoiding a whole tent replacement) so perhaps ask for that?
I have included my email from Vango below as evidence that their literature was incorrect, if that helps!

Hello Alastair,
Thanks for contacting Vango Customer Services.
This is strange as all the literature for this tent shows a three way divider, however every image shows the bedroom to be split in two. I believe this was a last minute change with this tent and that the bedroom is split in two.
Regards,
David

MESSAGE FROM A VANGO CUSTOMER
Customer message: Hi there, the diagram of this new tent shows the sleeping area can be divided into 3 sleeping sections, but the one we saw in Go Outdoors just divides down the middle into two bigger sleeping areas (which we prefer) - assuming they had the correct inner up in it (?!) Please can you confirm, does the inner divide into 2 or 3?
Many thanks,
Alastair

After a bit of debate...go outdoors agreed to full refund (wanted to give credit but the only other 3 bed they have is hi-gear (non-blackout) and a very heavy Nadina (& more expensive)
So we are back to start looking for 3 bed tent for family of 4.
Thing is prices have gone up compared to when we purchased Avalon in January ...😁
Glad you got it sorted with Go Outdoors. I note the diagrams on the Vango website have finally been correctly updated! I actually got mine back a couple of days ago, and is fixed - it seemed to suddenly arrive back after I pestered them about it being gone for over 6 weeks for repair (?!)
BTW If you liked the size of the Avalos, Marna 600XL seems to be pretty much the same tent, but does actually seem to have 3 bedrooms (see photos on website) - cheapest at http://www.charliesdirect.co.uk/vango-marna-600xl-6-man-camping-tent-herbal £400, not quite as good as Go Outdoors deal but not bad - according to the dagram it is 20cm longer!
Yes looked at that, but decided to spend the extra £100 on mattress and kitchen stand. thanks for help! we can start to look forward to summer of camping...!
Just thought Id update... after 2months of emails to both Vango & GoOutdoors I was contacted by the Vango Account manager for Go Outdoors. After a few conversations and images emailed i am now the owner of the Vango Marna 600XL, with 3 seperate bedroom pods and the Avalos accessories previously purchased should fit :-)

We have done the same . Full credit/money back from go outdoors and ordered Marna through camp mania - very good service!
Look forward to putting it up when the rain stops for a moment!

doesnt sound positive alduncan. Pitched it this weekend n seems ok, not the tidiest sticking where the bedroom anchor point is but ive ended up with a Marna as replacement for avalos

Our Avalos had hole in groundsheet when we first put up - Go Outdoors sent to Vango to be repaired (they would have replaced it but had stopped selling them!) - took over 6 weeks for it to come back - it mysteriously suddenly arrived back after I started hounding them with phone calls and emailing head office! Wasn't impressed with Go Outdoors or Vango! Not tried out camping yet- I hope groundsheet is hardwearing enough, as it seems more flimsy than one in previous Coleman tent we had.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
