I use 3 buckle straps (very cheap on ebay etc ), 2 around diameter, 1 around length to help compress the tent once its rolled, fits back in the bag with room to spare,
can even manage it on my own

You need the Eden fold up method from Paul and Kate, tried and tested, pictures and it works.

we have the Croyde inflatable and it works a treat.

Hi Duffs54
We used same method for our sandwood 4+2 and it does work every time a very good method. The Rivendale 800 has a very cheap flimsy nylon bag so ive added the straps to keep it from putting extra strain on the zip as it is moved around

I would think this method works for most tents, just so easy, our bag is huge but the handles are rubbish, we also tie ours up too.

another option is to buy a larger bag or do without the bag. I have a Bell Tent which has a particularly sturdy groundsheet and I just roll it up, secure it with either long velcro straps or bungees, and throw it in the car (or put bin liners over it if it's wet). I have to dry the tent properly at home anyway, even if it's just to ensure the guy ropes are bone dry. So no point worrying too much about the pack up at the campsite.
