Hi
We are looking to purchase the vango diablo 900 and was wondering what the pitch size is?
will most campsites allow a tent this large or will I have problems?
Is it better to invest in a smaller tent, we are a family of 6 and I'm new to camping so any advice would be great!
Thanks for reading,

I think you may have problems on sites with set pitches. It's nearly 9m x 9m and then you've got guys on top of that. Pitch-where-you-like on a field type sites would be fine I'd have thought.

If you can find a Diablo 900xp as opposed to just the 900 that would be better as it has an extra pole on the bedrooms which makes a massive difference to the room height.
As for pitching size 9m x 9m is about right as the tent is about 7m x 7m without the guys out.

Given the size of your family perhaps you could look at 8 berth tunnel tents too as you could have the kids in one end and yourselves in the other. I would suggest an 8 rather than a 6 as it gives you more room in the bedrooms, dependent of course on the age of the children.

Ok that's great, think it may be too large. I'll have a look at the tunnel tents, thanks for all the advice.

I have seen a Vango Yukon 800 for sale on eBay for £200 second hand but looks in good condition.
Does anyone know if this is a good price and is it smaller the the Vango Diablo 900 ?
Thanks again really appreciate the advice everyone gives!
