Him, we are looking to buy the above king of tents, BUT, would like to see one in the flesh. Is there anyone in the region of north Wiltshire who is happy to show us theirs please!
Many thanks

Alas I'm in Suffolk, so mine is out..... also perhaps consider this request on Bushcraft UK and SongofthePaddle fora, if no help here?
Also perhaps have a look at BCT tents?
The Force10 you may find second hand but not the BCT......
Hi
I had a Force 10 for about 10 years, still got it need so repairs, great tent when i was winter camping in the lakes or parts Scotland with the weather at most times being heavy rain/snow and gale force winds, never had any problems with this tent in bad weather, even in 70 mph winds, very scary but good fun, its a lot of money if you are only going to use it in summer months, lot cheaper ones out there.
Like Caligule has posted look at BCT tents i have a BCT Task Force 4 man ridge tent now, great tent in all weathers almost has good as the Force 10, but the down side is its heavy being made of canvas,
i am in Wilshire in Mid March in the valley of Pewsey for the Spring Equinox if you would like to see the Task Force then let me know
Thanks Caligula and RedFleece
My husband has looked at BCT tents, but as it wasn't a name we had heard of we were a bit nervous, but your recommendations have changed our minds.
REDFleece, we would to take you up on your offer please? Do you use it for all seasons? Thanks

Hi
Yes offer still stands, be good to meet you both, I will be in Wiltshire on the 17th March onwards, the first 3 days I be wildcamping in a light 1 man tent, 20th to 26th I be on a campsite mid Wiltshire with the Task Force, will let you both know what site nearer the time, so pop along, yes I use it all year round, but as a base tent, I also enjoy long distance trails, like the Cleveland Way Pembroke Coastal Path and in August we are walking the whole of the South West coastal path, 620 miles, wildcamping it, so we need a very small light weight tent, so ask yourself what do I need the tent to do.
i have a couple of these tents, they are bomb proof, the only tent to stay up in the lale.i taken one to austrailia to stand up to storms, but also keep a lighter weight tent for settled weather. tent
Hello Josephsmum
How are you both getting on looking for a force 10 any luck or can't make your minds up.
Just let you know I am in Wiltshire this weekend till Tuesday, but I won't be bringing my bct task force tent down, as I am wildcamping/walking the Ridgeway and Stonehenge with a very lightweight tent.
If you still like to see the tent then I can always let you know when I am in the area.
Got luck looking for the tent you want😊
Good luck with the walk, very envious.
If you are in the area, this side of summer with your bct tent, then yes please let us know.
Have a wonderful time and may the weather be kind to you
