We go camping in France and also Cornwall quite a lot and currently have an Outwell Montana. We are looking to upgrade this next year for a 6 - 8 berth tent.

Any suggestions on a decent quality tent to buy?

Hi and welcome to the forum, have you thought about Cotton Canvas Tent's uber quality, will last an age.

Cabanon have the Awaya range, and of course there are the infamous Karsten inflatables.

Thanks for the suggestions will have a look at both. Talking about cotton tents does anyone know if you can still buy the massive frame tents that you got years ago and that companies like Eurocamp and Vacansoleil have.

Yep, I think the Marechal Frame Tents are still available from camping direct.

Also have a look at the Obelink website.

To be fair though in this modern age you are best going for a Tent with SiG or better still ZiG.
