Hi, I have purchased an outwell montana 6p off someone, in green. I think it is a 2016 model. I saw a front awning for the montana 600p reduced to £150 in go outdoors. Does anyone know if this 600p awning will fit my 6p?

check with shop but I think it should fit but the 600p is a different material from the 6p. ebay is a good source of outwell tent parts at reasonable prices .

Thanks, also been having trouble finding out the year of my monty 6p, bought a few weeks ago through Gumtree. Couple said it was new and only used once. It is in immaculate condition and looks new. The packaging says it is only 5000waterproof. I thought the monty 6p was 6000waterproof. Then I heard the 5000 rated was on the go outdoors exclusive monty 6p. Then I heard the go outdoors exclusive model was called the 600p. Mine clearly says 6p on the tent. So now I'm confused as i can't find a date of manufacture. It says oa15 on the label but no date. Mine also looks different to every picture I can find of 6ps. It has the white/grey roof but is is green near to the windows.

cant remember where the label is on the tent , but its on the main tent , get a serial number and take it to go out doors or a outwell dealer and they should be able to put a date for your tent .may be your tent has been only used once but is an older model or a special batch order from a camping supplier so they can then sell them cheaper or imported from mainland Europe , really don't know to be honest . if its a colour scheme that's not common you may have difficulty finding accessories that match in colour .outwell parts can be expensive if ordering one offs from the factory

just had a look on the go out door web site , monata 6 tent that they are selling is not 5000 water proofing but 3000 , read the reviews there . your tent may have come from there and using the 5000 water proofing to make a cheaper tent to sell . don't worry about it to much sure it will still do a good job .
