So, i've just acquired an Elite 6 which seems to be a reasonable unit for the price suited to a novice beginner family.

It's not the smallest bit of kit but couldnt really go any smaller due to the size of our clan and the need for space.

The figures seem to show that its 4.2m in width not taking into account the guy ropes pegged out.

Checking out the caravan and camping club website it suggests that over 5 meters in width and you need to book a jumbo pitch. Only having 0.8 meters to play with doesn't give me much room to peg the ropes out.

Has anyone got any experience of using this tent and if so does it fit on a standard pitch or will i always need a larger pitch?!
