Hi there! Can anyone advise me as to where I could get my hands on pitching instructions for Outwell Kansas 5 tent? In addition - and even better - can anyone point me towards a video demo of pitching said tent? (Haven't been in touch with Outwell yet. Thought I'd try here first!)

Hello Bobbington.

There are 3 sets of poles.
The 2 longest cross over to create the dome, the third pole goes over the front of the dome for the shelter.

I suggest you (loosely) peg out the dome groundsheet, then(slowly) thread the dome poles through the guides of the dome.
Have a helper to connect the far end from you into the retainers, and you connect the poles to the retainers on your side.
Now you have the dome, next thread the pole through the front guides, also insert in the ends into the retainers.

You now have the basic setup.

The rest should be easy to sort out.

As in the link image below.

Regards James

In the beginning there was darkness.
Then I bought a tent.
I'm not destitute, I'm just poor.

Hi James! Thankyou so much for your speedy reply to my post. I really didn't expect such a fast response. I have to admit that I only joined UK campsite yesterday and did so purely in an effort to find the information I needed. However, having had a "shufty" around and seen what's on offer, I'm very glad I have done so! Once again, thankyou. Hopefully, our paths will cross again sometime!
Best Wishes, Bobbington.
