Please can any one help? Been given a cabanon Athena frame tent but has no instructions does anyone have any they wouldn’t mind emailing me some one said to Email Cabanon but had no success many many thanks
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
The Athena is basically the same tent as the later 'Aruba' (apart from the pop out kitchen on the side are opposite ways round).
I'm sure there's a black and white drawing in the photo files on here for the Aruba so you could look there.
Alternatively, I just googled 'Cabanon Athena instruction' and the second image is what you want.
I would put it on here but It's been so long since I posted a pic that I've completely forgotten how to do it!
As long as the springs are intact, the frame should be in three or four sections with the legs and pop out parts separate.
You basically link together the roof sections, get the leg sections ready, clip on and bring the tent to its 'knees'. Lay the canvas on the roof and spread out, then tie on the corners of the flysheet to the poles internally. Lift the tent to its full height, straighten and peg away...
It's quite simple when you know how and these tents are as sturdy as they come.
I had one and look bed it!
