Looking at the new version of the Kyham Igloo for some car camping or at least base camp.

Does anybody have the new version in black and anybody with this tent in general can recommend.

Hi. I have no experience of the new version of the Igloo but I am now on my second tent of this type having had one of the first (purple and green) models and now the green and black one. In my opinion they are excellent tents and I would recommend them.
It seems to me though that windows in the front porch area are of little benefit.
The only disadvantage is the comparatively low entrance.
I would strongly recommend that you also get the separate groundsheet.
