I'm thinking of buying a Eurohike Rydal 500 tent but the one thing that puts me off is that it has a darkened bedroom. Can anyone tell me how dark this is?
Is there a similar tent that doesn't have a darkened bedroom? I want something with a sewn in groundsheet and where the bedroom has a decent height so that you can stand up in it.

I’ve got a EuroHike rydal 600 and the rooms are darkened fabric so they are dark but there good to keep out the early morning sun, just bought a Vango Keswick 600 and that’s just 2 layers of fabric so a lot lighter in the bedrooms.

I'll have a look at that one. I don't want to keep out the sun. I mostly camp at dog agility shows where I need to be up and about really early.

The sun comes up before 04.00 in early summer. You may end up wishing for darkened out bedrooms, but I wouldn't buy a Rydal 500, I've got 2, no mesh on the doors, which is really good to have on a hot day.

I've just bought a Coleman Galileo 4. It has some good reviews and I'm looking forward to trying it out. I sleep better when it's light and one of my dogs won't sleep in the dark at all. I have to leave a light on all night for her.
