Last year we bought the ASDA Ozark Trail 6 person dome tent.

I'm finding trouble finding images of it in orange online let alone instructional videos.

We seem to fall at the first hurdle because it's as if the long carbon poles are too long... We haven't even tried the shorter ones yet. It's a bit embarrassing trying in the garden like Frank & Betty Spencer.

Does anyone anyone have experience of these that could offer advice or help.
I can't even sell it unless I know it works.

Looks like a fairly standard design, the poles will need a fair bit of force behind them to bend into the pins,
I would do the 2 longer ones which cross in the centre, the 2 shorter ones which make up the bedrooms should be a little easier once the main frame is up.

To add ...

The longer poles are 10 sections long, the shorter 9.
Not sure how but since last night I found 1 split section.

Thanks John,
That's what we were doing to the point of feeling dangerous... Every video I've seen didn't seem to put that much force in.
I saw on one advice page to cut the poles...

There's usually adjustment at the pins. Slacken them right off then tighten as necessary.

Thanks Navver, no adjustments. It's the first thing I looked for. All sewn in place, nothing more.
